If you’ve gotten her to agree to meeting you, you need to pick the perfect location. That’s easier than you’d think, and we know the best first date locations in spades.
Don’t go too big.
While we know that a lot of men want to impress their dates, there’s no reason to spend a fortune on them. You’ll be just fine if you keep it small, but intimate on the first date.
This is one of the most important dating how-tos that we can hand out. You really need to keep it simple, because if it’s too much, you will both feel uncomfortable.
That being said, you can’t pick something ridiculously cheap or common, either. Avoid movies. You can’t talk at those, and that’s going to really kill the point of the date.
Coffee is a good one.
There’s a reason why getting coffee and meeting up at a cafe is a common date idea, and that’s because it’s a solid one. You can easily get yourself out of it if it goes wrong, too.
That being said, just because it’s easy doesn’t mean it’s great. If you’re going to go this route, at least go somewhere nice. Don’t pick a noisy coffee shop that does you no favors.
Getting creative is a good one if you want to stick around these kinds of lines. Pick a nice bakery instead, and end up spending lunch there eating some actual good food.
Look at her interests.
Take a good, long look at her online profile again. Did you miss anything? If you can brainstorm dating ideas from there, you’re going to earn some serious points in her book.
If she’s into musicals, for example, you can always start with a dinner and then tickets to a musical. That’s going to get you a lot more points in her book than a boring cafe would.
Just don’t count out the obvious. There’s nothing wrong with simplicity, but you do need to make sure that you aren’t overusing those particular locations. Creativity is fun, too.
