It doesn’t matter whose fault it is–her’s, the waiter’s, your own…there are a lot of ways a date can go sour, but we know how to save a bad date and turn it all around again with our dating tactics.
Consider what happened.
Before you can fix the problem, you have to figure out what exactly happened. Was it just you being late, accidentally spitting food on her face, or the waiter dropping a glass of water on her dress?
If it’s something like that, apologizing and helping out your woman is going to be the best course of action. If it’s something that she did similarly, just shrug it off and move on.
The more casual you are about this sort of thing, the better. What’s the point in being upset if you want to actually have a good evening out? At the end of the night, who cares?
If it’s incompatibility, just get through it.
It’s time to face the music in this kind of situation. If you’re just incompatible, we highly recommend just trying to get through the date, and move on to the next woman.
That being said, if you want to keep trying, there’s always the chance you two will find some common ground. See if you can find it and hit it off better that way. Maybe you’re both just awkward.
If you take the time to find something that you’re both into and there’s still nothing clicking, just chalk it up to experience and move on. If you’re not having fun, what’s the use in dragging it out?
Just laugh it off.
At the end of the night, it’s all about having fun. If you can just laugh off your bad experiences, you’re going to be a lot happier and be a lot better off in general for it.
This is something a lot of men just can’t seem to grasp. Your pride isn’t at stake here. She’s as nervous as you are, so just deal with problems as they come, and be okay about it.
